After the 12 MO has expired, to receive Upgrades and continue the Enterprise License the customer must purchase a Service Plan 12 MO. However, the Field software itself will continue to operate (as initially purchased), even after the maintenance has expired but you will not be eligible for any upgrades or the ability to transfer licenses between hardware.
